Korean media said that the United States prevented the development of Korean folk solid rockets but released them to Japan

Although the combustion time of liquid fuel is long and easy to control,its momentary thrust is slightly weaker than that of solid fuel,and its launch moments have limitations.Therefore,most Aerospace developed countries will use both liquid and solid rockets on the first stage launch vehicle at the bottom of the rocket.

The South Korean-American missile framework stipulates that South Korea cannot develop a carrier rocket with a total thrust of more than 1 million pounds per second.Because of such limitations,the first stage of space rockets being developed in South Korea is liquid rocket.On the contrary,the United States allowed Japan,the defeated country in World War II,to develop solid rockets that could be converted to intercontinental ballistic missiles at will.As a result,Japan successfully launched the Asteroid Nikawa probe into space in 2003.

The Korean military has short-range missiles(basalt 2,range 300 kilometers)using solid rockets.However,the military solid rocket can not be converted to civilian"shackles"in the Korean-US missile framework negotiations did not open.On the grounds of military development,space rocket technology for peaceful purposes can not be used either.South Korean diplomatic sources said,"It's not clear what logic to allow(war criminals)Japan to develop solid rockets civilianly,but oppose South Korea's development."
